Finding Things on Google

In Google, they give you some ways on how to find searches better.  They help you narrow it down to what you like.  Google gives us many ways to find our sources.  It gives us the opportunity to go down to how many hours the thing was published.  As well as the books out there and the mafgazines.

What I used a lot was the amount of hours it had because I probably want to see how recent it was.  I also used the books, I took books off because I felt like I didn't need books in order to get my info.  Also what was really helpfull, was the fact that you can reduce images.  If you have no images then it reduces the amount of things you find.

The Fallen Hero - Anakin

Fallen Hero

Have you ever wondered if the hero you wished to be, ever have a downfall? In many stories the hero always ends up saving the world and being known for the good, he or she does. But in some stories they change what a hero is really suppose to be. Like in the movie Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith we are shown how a hero changes his ways. The hero is names Anakin, he is shown to be the powerful Jedi by his master Obi One. In this story we are shown how a hero can change his ways to save the one he loves by being manipulated and being something so dark that leads to kill.

In the beginning of the movie we are shown that Anakin is helping Obi One fight a man who is against the Jedi counsel. Then Obi One gets injured and Anakin sees that. When he sees Obi One hurt he gets mad. That anger that he gets turns into negative power that is to powerful for him to control and it leads him to take Count Dooku. When he is on his knees with no hands, The Sith Lord is sitting on a chair and tells him to kill him. Anakin made a bad decision to kill Count Dooku. When he kills him The Sith Lord says that he did a good job. Anakin knows that what he did was wrong. They get out of the ship and go back home. But knowing what he did Anakin begins to see visions that aren't good. So after him killing someone he begins to act as if he is a totally different person.

He begins to see visions and in those visions he sees his future wife Padme being in great pain, dying. From here on out he begins to think that he must save her. He thinks very negative and feels as if he needs to kill. The Sith Lord then tells him that he is someone that needs to help him go to the dark side so his wife can life. But little does Anakin know that he is only manipulating him in order to use him to over throw the jedi people.

So when the Sith Lord tells him that he goes to one of the Jedi people and tells him that he is working for the dark side. Then they go to stop him but before that they tell Anakin to not go. The guy with the purple sword. Then Anakin disobeys him and goes. When he gets there he sees the guy with purple sword fighting with the Sith Lord and he has to decide between the good guy and the bad guy. But his destiny is set to be something bad. So he chooses to help the Sith Lord and the Sith Lord kills the guy. So this is when he decides to go to the dark side and he begins to kill innocent kids and former partners.

So now we ask our selves did he ever have a chance to become a Jedi? I think not. Because if you really pay attention his mind set was already set to keep his wife alive. In order to do that The Sith Lord asked for his help. So he was already going to go bad.

Yes on Prop 34??

I think this is a very good prop that needs to be talked about and as well as payed attention to.  This Prop talks about how the people in prison either live or don't.  Prop 34 explains how the death penalty shouldn't be happening.  If you oppose this, that means that  you still want death penalty.  I understand that if you do actually commit a crime so bad that you need to be killed for it then you should die.  But i also believe in a second chance.  A chance to actually prove that you can change and show people that what you did was wrong and you can live with the guilt.  I feel that if you kill someone that did something so bad, you will be ending that persons life fast.  Which means that he wont live with the guilt or work in jail.  He would rest.

So now to the numbers Prop 34 is basically saying that we should not kill anyone that has committed a crime.  Instead to put them in jail for life.  So that way they can live with what they did in the back of their head.  So if we don't kill anyone, that means that the state itself will save millions of dollars that go into killing these people.  Cause if you plan on killing someone then you have to go through a big and long process that will take so much time and money. So the people that oppose it want to say no because they don't want to be living around with criminals.

So i believe to say yes to prop 34 because i want it to go and not kill people. 

The Canterbury Tales

In The Canterbury Tales there are some very interesting characters that really can relate to people in the real world today.  There are characters like knight, the wife, the maid, the warrior, etc.  You know what I am talking about.  So in my opinion I feel like I can probably relate to the Miller.  I feel as if that character suits me well and I feel like I would live his lifestyle if I lived back then.  I can also relate to his characteristics that he has.

The Miller is a man that works hard on his fields.  So I would live in a farm with a family and I will support my family and be happy with them.  I would work in the fields on my crops and sell those to people that would like to buy food for their kids and stuff.  As well as for my family. I would use what I crop in the farm to serve to my family for dinner.  The challenged I would face on a daily basis would be like people that would want to out smart me.  I would trick them into buying my crops in a more expensive manner.  So I would never get played. 

My family life would be very calm and peaceful but if my kid does anything wrong then they will get punished and go sleep outside for a night.  Depends on what they did.  The world around me would be a little difficult but it wouldn't be hard.  I wouldn't have any military to go to though because i have to stay home and take care of my family.  I value my family a lot especially my kids.  My morals are complicated though.  My plans for the future would be to get workers to work for me so I woulnd't have to work as much.

The Canterbury Tales - The Miller

The Miller is a very interesting man, he is a middle class worker that stays on his work.  He grinds wheat and uses it to make bread. He is a very nice man.

Colleges Going To Far?

I think that the colleges that will take the students right of passage away isn't right. If the senior who wanted to attend to a college that wanted them to graduate with "C" or higher I think the senior should have known from the beginning to what he was doing. Colleges having this new rule is very strict now. I would like to go to a school that has my interest, but if I am slacking off then I wouldn't be slacking off. Colleges taking away the entrance to their campuses to the seniors that had grades that slip or seniors that didn't take a class that they wanted, that shouldn't be fair to them.

Seniors should already know what to do as a student in high school. Be good in school, have good grades and as well as try to take classes that colleges would like to see. Now a days students find it easy to just leave class and not come back then make up the work later. Colleges wouldn't want those type of student cause the students will be telling others so the other bad students will join. Colleges are being a little to strict. They shouldn't even care because the colleges are getting paid from those student. So for them to say that they can't enter is wrong because that is making a students opportunities go down the drain.

Colleges should think more about how they will do this because. Students that really want to learn shouldn't be out aside or not be attmited because of a class they didn't take. They can probably even make up the class in that college and pay the college. So there shouldnt be a problem. So colleges taking away their entrances to the campus because of a wrong grade or not meeting a class requirement shouldn't be an issue.

Senior Year Highlights

I think that this year is going to be really difficult because it going to be busy and just a lot of opportunities coming your way and you have to learn to pick the right one.  I am really looking forward to just being done with school and noticing what we will have in the future that will help us be a better person.  Also having a better future.  I think a good highlight this year will be doing Speech because I really want to make it far and go to State and Nationals.  I am going to try my hardest to make it into both because last year I made it but it was by luck.

I am also looking forward to ball and the parties.  I think that's what makes this year fun, getting the chance to go and hang out with friends.  Hopefully it goes well cause I'm pretty sure that this year will go by fast.  I will try my best to do good in school cause that could be a big highlight.  The day you did good in school.
